Responsibilities:

▪ Create and execute Test strategies across delivery phases;
▪ Obtain inputs and sign-off from the stakeholders at various phases;
▪ Analyze detailed design documentation and participate in relevant project meetings to gather additional requirements;
▪ Using various tools/technologies, run processes, procedures or queries to collect, analyze, manipulate, synthesize and summarize relevant data;
▪ Work with the development team, business analysts and other QA leads to clearly understand the process requirements and functionality to determine test cases and clearly communicate expected and actual outcomes;
▪ Find defects and work directly with the developer to document defects, bugs, glitches and create then validate fixes;
▪ Analyze and review Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Business Requirements, and Functional Specifications, as well as other details across assets to ensure robust understanding of test plan and execution;
▪ Participate with the team in all Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:

▪ 5+ Years of application software and infrastructure Quality Assurance experience on enterprise-level applications;
▪ Experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects;
▪ Identification and test data preparation techniques;
▪ Review and understand Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Non Functional Requirements documents (NFRs);
▪ Ability to run, read from, and debug batch, service, API and real-time (streaming) processes;
▪ Thorough knowledge of software test life cycle and defect tracking;
▪ Proficiency with test case preparation and execution;
▪ Extensive experience using ETL tools (Informatica, Alteryx Talend) and ETL testing techniques;
▪ Experience in tuning SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc, for performance testing and tuning;
▪ Detail oriented with an analytical mindset;
▪ Knowledge of data models, data warehousing architecture techniques like ODS, DM, EDW, M, and ROLAP;
▪ Working knowledge and hands on experience with Informatica, IICS, and AWS;
▪ Previous experience developing test scripts, possibly as part of behavior-driven, test-driven, or acceptance test-driven development
▪ Experience with Atlassian suite, mainly JIRA and Confluence;
▪ Significant experience with various AGILE methodologies, and some exposure to DevOps;
▪ A passion for continuous learning and a desire to share business and technical knowledge;

▪ Solid communication skills – be able to partner and communicate directly with all roles across teams;

Skills:

▪ Some familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), Sumo Logic, Rafay, New Relic;
▪ Experience with SQL on multiple DBMS technologies, such as MS SQL Server, Teradata, and Vertica;
▪ Experience with financial services industry standard file layout, specifically exposure to ACCORD and DTCC standard feeds;
▪ Experience in producer/distributor compensation (COM), sales recognition programs, policy level networking (FAR, POV, NB);
▪ Cloud migration and/or modernization experience;
▪ Experience working in a DevOps environment;
▪ Experience with Lucid Chart to create designs and documentation.
