One of the tire 1 largest manufacturers in the automotive industry wants to create a new department of Product Development Quality, which verifies the quality of the products in the conception phase.

For this, we need a strong leader, to occupy a global position, as a Head of Product Development Quality.

In the first phase, the department will have 12 people and will include roles such as Project Quality Engineer and Software Quality Engineer. Reporting will be done directly to the general manager at global level.

This role will be in charge with:

- Setup new PD Quality structure, focused on engineering lifecycle.
- Define new role PDQE in charge for quality targets from PD.
- Separation between Project Quality Engineer and Product Development Quality Engineer aligned and released in - Business Management System.
- Empowerment of PD-Q on all levels (functional and organizational).
- Guidance, coach, assesor role into project teams to fulfill Q KPI.
- Standard quality reporting + risk assessment + escalations.
- Aspice internal assessments and early reaction

The ideal candidate has:

- Experience in management & leadership min 5 years
- Experience in Automotive R&D Quality
- Results orientation 
- Solid knowledge of System requirements, SW Product Quality, Electronics and Mechanical Design.
