The System Functions Leader (SFL) is a Systems engineer in charge of the design and the validation of the system
architecture for the engine management. The main deliverables of the SFL are the software (SW) requirements
for the ECM (Engine Control Module) and the generic system validation plan.

Main duties:

• Design and validation of the system architecture;
• Translate the system requirements (official rules, safety, functional requirements, performance, maintenance, etc.) in SW functional requirements;
• Design of the generic validation plans for the assigned perimeter;
• Management of the SW function development in the upstream phase of the projects and assurance of the technical convergences for the assigned perimeter.

Technical skills needed for this job:

• Bachelor's or equivalent in an engineering field: Automotive, Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computers, Electronics, etc.;
• Strong experience in the field of ECM SW development;
• System engineering and embedded SW architecture;
• Functional safety rules (ISO 26262);
• Good understanding of ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) operation and their control systems (air system, combustion, after-treatment, torque structure etc.);
• Good understanding of vehicle EE (electric and electronic) architecture;
• Fluency in English with a high level of technical writing quality. French is “nice to have”.
