CUSTOMER MARKETING MANAGER, Location: Bucharest/Remote

Role purpose:
Drive and deploy ‘Irresistible engagement’ with shoppers & customers at prioritized touchpoints along the purchase journey which drives conversion, brand equity and category share growth as well as building strategic value with key customers.
Customer Marketing Manager OTC & Vitamins will take responsibility for translating category and brand strategies into specific pharmacy channel and customer activities in order to win at shelf.


Responsibilities:
Development of CATMAN strategy:
 Lead Romania and Bulgaria CATMAN planning process with direct contribution to ComEx MAPs and 3/1 Plan;
 Represent Romania and Bulgaria in quarterly Customer Marketing review process with Area;
 Source of strategic expertise for Customer Marketing Managers, Sales and Brand owners in terms of category and channel trends for all product categories.

Drive CATMAN execution:
 Responsible for driving in-depth category expertise, shopper & customer research projects, category insight mining in order to provide business with full understanding of shopper / customer behavior / trends and new opportunities;
 Drive improvement of Customer Activities via in-depth analyses (pricing, promo tactics, competitive activity, customer strategy);
 Play active role in Core Assortment Strategy development (partnering with Customer Marketing and NRM);
 Lead strategic customer projects in cooperation with relevant KAMs (category building promotional strategies, category (shelf space) projects, engagement in strategic meetings (Top to Top);
 Defining category gaps & opportunities and creating recommendations to Brand owners, Customer Marketing Managers, Sales;
 Drive CATMAN capabilities within organization (Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Finance, Sales);
 Drive adoption of CATMAN tools in the organization.


Business Partnering:
 Collaborate with Area ComEx Team with focus on 3/1 Plan delivery;
 Collaborate with cross functional teams at in respect to customer actional plans;
 Support sales team with all CATMAN related projects;
 Support KAMs in building relationship with key trade partners.
Requirements:
 University degree in economics or business administration, sciences or engineering;
 Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business;
 Proven experience in customer marketing/shopper marketing/ trade marketing/ or sales;
 Proven experience in developing and delivery of customer activation plans;
 Proven track record of excellent commercial acumen in shopper marketing area;
 Demonstrable leadership and influencing skills;
 Experience within FMCG shopper marketing, sales or marketing as an advantage;
 Very good analytical skills;
 Detailed understanding of shopper / customer marketing and shopper / customer behavior across all channels;
 Expertise in engaging and effective cooperation with sales teams;
 Good level of English.
